COVID-19 Up Date
Great news we are open again! We are currently by appointment only, sorry no walk-ins. When you arrive for your appointment we ask that you call from your vehicle 608-756-0307, when your service provider is ready they will come to the door and give you a friendly wave to let you know they are ready to take care of you. We currently are not accepting cash as advised by health officials. All of our staff wear face protection, you may bring your own or we can provide some for you. We will be taking the temperature of our clients and staff when you arrive, we use a touch less thermometer. We are take all the steps we can to keep everyone safe, we appreciate your patients and cooperation.
Salon
We were born to do this and we are damn good at it too. We love this industry and boy do we have history. The business was first started in downtown Janesville by Bev Ableman in 1948 as Bev’s Heritage. Then Barb Mathews took ownership in 1982 and renamed the business, Heritage Salon. Barb was able to give the business a fresh look, location and bring the newest trends to market. Bev continued to work for the business up to her retirement and passing. In 1986 Barb moved the salon to its current location: 2919 N. Lexington Dr. Janesville, WI 53545. After many years of success Pam Lawrence took ownership in 2006 renaming the business Feature’s Hair and Nail Co. Under Pam’s leadership the business added a website, Facebook page, and computer system bring the salon into the dot.com era. Barb and Pam still continues to work for the business and their combined experience and leadership are an asset that no other salon has, building the foundation for our team. Following in a many years tradition Tammy Theisen took on the leadership roll as the new owner in 2020. Tammy added a Day Spa and Academy. With the help and support of such a seasoned staff, management team we bring the hottest trends along with the newest techniques to the local area.
Spa
Flawless U Salon Spa Academy is proud to be offering Spa services. We are proud to be the only Spa in the area offering Sugar Hair Removal and Dermaplaning. When it comes to Eye Lash Extensions we are second to none, not only do we provide the service, we have a Master Educator on staff and offer training classes! We want the highest trained staff, to do that we knew we need to insure they get the best and newest training. By adding new technologies and services that are not currently offered in the area; along with a full service spa we've done just that.
Academy
Sharpen your skills or start a new career. Our academy is designed to help seasoned professionals keep up on their game and as a starting place for Lash Masters in the making. We are currently offering Eyelash Extension classes for Classic and Volume. The state does not require any previous training or certifications for our Classic Lash class, we do require you to have had Classic Lash training before you can take our Volume class. We will be adding CU classes for Illinois Cosmetologists, Business classes, Airbrush Makeup classes, Makeup classes, Color classes, Finishing classes. This Academy helps us and our staff stay up to date along with building confidence with our clients insuring they get the service they desire.
Events
We love to live outside the box and with our events we are able to offer services that no other salons officer. We are partnering with some great local companies to take these events to the next level. Type of events you can look forward to are Sip & Glow (wine and skin care can’t go wrong), Mocha’s & Makeup (some great coffee paired with the latest makeup techniques), Mommy & me tea party (these are custom parties that are great for tweens and under, birthdays to girls day out), and Bridal parties.
